When Congress calls a short-notice vote right before a holiday, when a bill urgently needs bipartisan co-sponsors, or when a crisis is urgently developing, we need a core team of advocates ready to make calls, disseminate petitions, and alert the media.
As Rapid Responder, you may be called upon to:
- Make urgent calls to elected officials from your state
- Tweet at policymakers and political candidates
- Sign and disseminate petitions
- Write op-eds (don’t worry, we’ll teach you how!)
