This April, STAND is partnering with Amnesty International and the Irish Centre for Human Rights to host a conference on the Responsibility to Protect doctorine in Galway, Ireland on April 4-6, 2008. Students from across Europe and Africa will unite to connect with other anti-genocide activists. Don't miss your chance to connect with other anti-genocide activists and learn new tools to help build international networks and campaigns to end genocide.

 

The conference will have a dual nature in which the first part of the conference will focus on educating participants about genocide, the responsibility to protect doctrine, and mechanisms for responding. The second part will focus on establishing a STAND network and developing campaigns to respond. Students from across Europe and Africa will unite - for the first time - in a call to end genocide in Darfur and beyond.
