The student-led movement to end mass atrocities.

STAND | Take Action

It's not often that Hollywood's most glamorous night serves as an important foundation for bringing attention to genocide and mass atrocities--but this year it is. Joshua Oppenheimer's documentary "The Act of Killing" has been nominated for the 2014 Academy Award for Best Documentary Feature along with winning a plethora of other awards and nominations. The documentary follows perpetrators of the Indonesian killings of 1965-1966 that resulted in the deaths of over 500,000 people. It's a gripping and intensely disturbing film that delves into the minds of mass killers that is truly making ripples across the international community. We want you and your chapters to keep the momentum up and join the movement behind "The Act of Killing"!
