The student-led movement to end mass atrocities.

Step 1: Email the White House

Email the White House and urge President Obama to work with multilateral partners to find the urgent solution necessary to protect Syrian civilians against government-sponsored violence.

All you need to do is copy and paste our call to action:

Dear President Obama,

The crisis in Syria is urgent. In light of recent reports that the Syrian military is prepared to use chemical weapons against its own people, action to protect civilians in Syria is now more important than ever.

In August, you said that Syria’s use, or movement, of chemical or biological weapons would be a “red line” that would result in “enormous consequences.” Now is the time to remember your words and that commitment to the Syrian people. Civilian protection should be the foremost consideration in your administration’s approach towards Syria.

We strongly urge your administration to work with multilateral partners, including regional organizations and governments, to protect civilians against government-sponsored violence in Syria. While we recognize the complexity of the situation, what is clear is that the Assad regime must be prevented from committing further mass atrocities against the Syrian people, particularly through the use of chemical weapons.

With the increased risk of mass civilian casualties, this is not the time for the international community to falter. This is the time for your administration to take the lead on working with international partners to protect the Syrian people.

In Solidarity,
