STAND Core Chapters

The CORE Chapter Experience:

STAND Core Chapters are some of the true change-makers in the movement to end genocide and mass atrocities.  Made up of the movement's most dynamic and inspiring members, they work tirelessly on their campus and together with STAND chapters across the country to build the political will necessary to make Never Again a reality.  As part of STAND's National Student Leadership Team, leaders of these chapters receive direct trainings and resources from STAND National, and are invited to STAND Camp each July!  Chapters are required to send one representative from their group to attend STAND Camp on their behalf.

Core Chapters are STAND's officially recognized chapters and as such are given the opportunity and support they need to maximize their activism and take their organizing skills to the next level.  Chapters receive access to all of STAND's resources, including customized trainings and materials, are more plugged into STAND events and updates, and have the opportunity to share experiences and efforts with other activists.  All chapters are invited to officially sign up as a STAND Core Chapter by having their chapter leader sign up.

STAND Core Chapters are also eligible to apply for Core Chapter Grants to further their ability to raise funds, advocate their elected officials, and contribute to the mission of the anti-genocide movement. Apply for a grant for by visiting our Core Chapter Grants page.
