NSU STAND

NSU is a historically black university in southeastern Virginia. Students at NSU are working with STAND's many other chapters to bring an end to genocide in Darfur and anywhere else it occurs. Like many STAND chapters, our chapter has lobbied government officials, attended rallies and events in Washington, DC, participated in Darfur Fast since 2005, and worked to raise awareness about the atrocities in Darfur at NSU and throughout the communities of southeastern Virginia.

We especially welcome other chapters in Virginia who wish to work together in this important fight to raise the consciousness of the world to bring an end to unspeakable crimes like those occurring in Darfur, Sudan, Burma, and Eastern Congo.
