President Trump has signed an Executive Order halting refugee resettlement and targeting those from seven majority-Muslim countries. We are calling on Senators and Representatives to support legislation (Senate Bill 240 and House Resolution 724) to nullify the Executive Order and tell the world that #AmericaDoesNotBan refugees. This is not a partisan issue. Providing protection to people seeking safety is one of our nation’s proudest and longest standing traditions, including resettling Jewish refugees during World War II, Vietnamese refugees in the 1980s, and more recently refugees from the Sudan, Burma, Iraq, Afghanistan and Syria. We must work to ensure pro-refugee voices are heard and we need your help.

- Call and tweet at your state target
- Write an op-ed in your local paper
- Meet with your state target’s office, or attend a town hall meeting
