Did you contact or influence your elected officials? Hold a great event? Fundraise for civilian protection? Tell us about it!
This is important for two reasons:
1) We need evidence to convince elected officials that their constituents care about ending and preventing genocide. The more specific, the better: specific numbers of letters sent or phone calls made, links to articles in your local paper, and stories about events in your community are all useful. When STAND and GI-Net leaders talk with members of Congress, having these specifics makes the message that much stronger.
2) Allows STAND's Leadership Team to better serve you and your chapter: If you give feedback on what STAND leadership is doing right or wrong, we can improve our work and serve your chapter better.
Plus, your chapter’s efforts might be featured in national newsletters, at conferences, and more!
Please fill out this form every time your chapter contacts or influences your elected officials!

We are very excited to announce that STAND will be hosting its 2008 National Student Conference on November 7-9 in Washington, DC!
Join student activists from across the country as we come together to learn from policy experts and each other about how to be more effective advocates to end the ongoing atrocities in Sudan, Burma, and the Congo, and ensure that we "STAND Out Loud" against genocide in our world.
